Saul Bass is well known for his poster and movie sequence designs which I think are bold and rememberable making them iconic. I think his focus to colour contrast really works well in highlighting typography and shapes used. The fact he also doesn't overload the page also creates a focal point to the artwork and the main title which is important from an advertisement point of view.
