Creating the Foundation for a Glitch Effect

By using Adobe Illustrator, I was able to create simple coloured squares using the rectangle tool. From here I grouped the squares together before creating a scatter brush which allowed me to allocate the glitch to the necessary parts of the page (leaving room for a photograph to be added in the middle). By then saving the pattern as a jpeg I was able to use online software to transfer the pattern into a more realistic looking glitch.

In my opinion, I feel the best glitch compilation is the last one and I would like to explore this design further by incorporating a photograph and typography.
