Experimenting with InDesign: Sawdust

These are some initial documents using InDesign as I adjust to the software. I decided to present 5 graphic designers who I found interesting and present in a way which echoed their work. The task has helped me understand the basic tools of Indesign which will be the foundation for future, more advanced projects.

I chose to look at the work of graphic design company 'Sawdust' as I love their X-Ray effect and edgy design.

In this document I decided to change the colour of the background to an electric light blue to match the x ray tones of the limbs which form the typography. I also decided to add a black edgy line pattern around each piece to match the overall gritty tone of the style of Sawdust's work. This document helped me to understand how to create outlines and change background colour which will be useful for my future designs.
